Is Between Us free?
There is no permanent free tier. Eligible new subscribers can start a 3-day introductory trial inside the store app, with full Premium access. After the trial, an active paid subscription is required.
How do I start the three-day trial?
Choose your app store, download Between Us, and select an eligible subscription offer inside the app. Apple or Google confirms eligibility, the trial length and renewal price before purchase. A website visit does not start a trial. If you are ineligible, the store shows the standard paid offer.
Can I play in my browser?
No. The website provides information and conversation guides. Gameplay, journaling, check-ins and other app tools are available only in the native app with an active trial or subscription.
Is it available on Android?
The Android app has been submitted to Google Play and is awaiting approval. Its trial will be available to eligible new subscribers when the release is live in their region. Check Google Play availability.
Do we both need a subscription?
You can play together on one subscribed device. For long-distance sessions, read the cards aloud on your call. This does not create separate partner accounts, cross-platform subscription sharing or automatic data sync.
What happens if I cancel or my subscription expires?
Manage or cancel through the App Store or Google Play before renewal. Access continues until the trial or paid period ends. After expiry, app content locks; locally stored entries remain on the device and become accessible again when you resubscribe. Uninstalling or clearing app data can remove that local content.
Is our relationship data private?
Names, journal entries and relationship content stay on your device, unless you choose to share them through another app. RevenueCat and your app store process subscription information. There is no automatic cloud sync or partner-to-partner data transfer. Read the privacy policy.
Is Between Us couples therapy?
No. It is an adult couples conversation and reflection tool, not therapy, medical advice or professional counselling. Skip any prompt that does not feel right for you.
